More specifically focused on young, creative, and daring watch brands, Time to Watches is a flagship event in a particularly dynamic, innovative, and job-creating sector, helping to strengthen Geneva’s position as the world capital of fine watchmaking.

For five days, Time to Watches facilitates meetings between carefully selected exhibitors and industry professionals, whether distributors, retailers, VIPs, media, or influencers. Time to Watches is held at the heart of the HEAD – Genève campus, an emblematic place of cultural and artistic creation, halfway between Geneva-Palexpo and the grand hotels of the Geneva waterfront.

Viewing at the salerooms is open the week prior to the sale and specialists are available to help with any questions that you might have. Furtwangen was once one of the centers of the Black Forest watchmaking industry with companies such as BADUF, LFS, and Union Clock, to name just three. And before that time, many inventors were busy in their workshops and Black Forest courtyards making the world-famous Black Forest shield clocks, flute clocks, or cuckoo clocks.

In the southern Black Forest at an altitude of almost 850 meters, the Black Forest town of Furtwangen is surrounded by hills that are densely forested, and the local mountain Brend, which at around 1100 meters offers a great view over the Black Forest landscape to the Alps.

Dealers and collectors from many European countries offer their antique pieces at this international exchange. Accordingly, one hears a wide variety of languages ​​in the corridors and halls of the university.
